My name is Maria Janea, and I created this brand as a love letter — to Black women, to femininity, to growth, and to the quiet confidence that lives in our bodies.

What started as a creative outlet nearly five years ago has grown into something sacred. I’ve spent almost half a decade perfecting my craft — learning bead by bead, strand by strand — refining quality, strengthening technique, and pouring intention into every single design. This isn’t rushed. This isn’t random. This is practiced, curated, and built with care.

Waistbeads have always carried history, culture, and meaning. They represent femininity, protection, sensuality, body awareness, and self-connection. I create pieces that feel like affirmation — something you wear for you.
